David Luck, DDS

Dr. Luck is part of a Houston area tradition of dental comfort and care. He is a 1979 graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and has maintained a private practice in Cypress since 2003.

Special Areas of Study:

  • The L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education – 1984-1987 – Complex occlusal problems for patients with normal TMJ function.
  • Academy of General Dentistry – to become a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, one must take 500 hours of additional training covering all areas of general practice, including both lecture and hands-on training followed by an examination to show proficiency in all areas. Dr. Luck became a Fellow in the AGD in 1990.
  • Associate Professor at University of Texas Dental School – 1987-1991 Dr. Luck taught students to do gold, silver and tooth-colored fillings.
  • International Association for Orthodontics 1998-1999 – Straight wire braces for young and adolescent patients.
  • American Orthodontic Society 2001-2002 – Straight Wire braces for adults and children.
  • Invisalign Certification 2003 – clear aligner braces
  • Las Vegas Institute (LVI) – cosmetic and functional restoration of complex concerns for patients whose TMJ does not work properly.
  • Academy of Bioesthetic Dentistry 2014-2015 – restoration and rejuvenation of worn down teeth and smiles from a chewing and cosmetic perspective for people with normal TMJ function.
  • Occlusion Connections 2017 – advanced training for patients with headaches, neck aches and facial pain developing from TMJ problems.
  • Spear Education Study Club – 2018-Present – Application of smile cosmetics and facial appearance to all complex restorative issues.
  • The Bible – As a lifelong student of the Bible, Dr. Luck loves to talk to patients about how they can have a meaningful relationship with the God who made them. He does not see a conflict between science and religion, but rather sees them as complementary disciplines that help us live in the world the way it really is.
